Get Glowing Skin In 5 Steps With This Easy DIY Facial

Clear Skin

Here’s how you can give yourself a glowing at-home facial in just 5 easy steps:

What you will need…

  • Gentle facial cleanser

  • Exfoliating scrub

  • Washcloth

  • Face mask

  • Face moisturizer

Instructions

  1. Clean. Remove all makeup and then wash your face with a good facial cleanser. I rarely wear makeup but when I do, I wash it off using Beste No.9 Jelly Cleaner from Drunk Elephant.

  2. Exfoliate. So most people use an exfoliating facial scrub but, I like to use the T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial from Drunk Elephant. You just leave it on for 20 minutes and I swear it does all of the work as an exfoliate without the mess. Another thing I like about this product is that it works for sensitive skin. I have really sensitive skin and this product never makes me breakout/isn't harsh on my skin.

  3. Steam. There are a few ways to steam your face (in the shower, using a steamer), but I normally use a washcloth. Fill your sink with warm water and soak a washcloth in it. Ring out the towel and then press it to your face. Repeat this 2 to 3 times.

  4. Mask. You can use any kind of mask. I personally like the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask. This is my favorite mask! Not going to lie, this mask is pricey but it does last for months so I think its worth it. I also like any of the Que Bella Face Masks. All of there masks work really well and there not pricey. Depending on the mask, leave it on for the suggested amount of time and then rinse completely.

  5. Hydrate. Last by not least, moisturize! Smooth a nice, thick moisturizer over your face and neck. I prefer to use the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream. I know Drunk Elephant products can be pricy so another moisturizer I use is the Derma E Advanced Peptides & Collagen Moisturizer. No lie I LOVE this moisturizer and it’s half the price! I normally alternate between the two moisturizers.
