7 Tips to Stay Motivated When You Lose Focus
I know that without motivation, I could never get where I want. I know where I want to be and the success level I want to obtain but sometimes I feel lazy. What do you do to stay motivated when your lacking motivation? Here are 7 tips to help you stay motivated!
Set a goal and visualize it. Start off with a large goal and visualize the moment you achieve that goal.
Make a list of why you want to accomplish the goal. Sometimes we set goals not only to satisfy our own wants but to also help our family and friends out. This can be a major motivation boost for you. It’s important to stay grounded, this will help to motivate you. Write your list down on paper!
Listen to a motivational podcast. There are so many inspiring podcasts out there ranging from entrepreneurs, preachers, and just everyday woman who have become their own bosses. Sign up for my newsletter to stay up to date for my up coming blog post on “Podcasts You Need To Download Right Now.”
Surround yourself with motivated people. Think about all of your current friendships, do those people motivate you? If the answer is no, then let them go. As you grow and glow you need meaningful friendships & nothing less.
Give yourself daily affirmations. There are endless apps and resources out there for you to write down your daily affirmations, use these tools! My go-to tool is the “5 Minute Journal.”
Read a motivational book. Duh, Michaelle Obama’s Becoming will instantly motivate you!
Continually check in with your reasons for carrying on. Constantly remind yourself that you are worthy and deserving! You will accomplish your goals because you created your goals for a reason.
